Punched

Sunday in the park. Rod asked us to find a hole...something small...that would make a circular background. So I took several photos of these flowers. I realized that one flower, out of focus, in the background would be the perfect hole to punch the photo. So did this one...not perfect and too much glare on the front petal. Shows more in the larger photo.
Just as I snapped this the wind blew and the flower was in shade. Try again.
It came together with persistence. The bottom petal looks like a shadow giving the feeling of a spotlight on the flower. Just some punching learned here at IFLC.
