Titles are for us to bind our minds in forethought.
Robbing art's ability to move the viewer to their own destination.
I have many works I call "Journey"...or some form of that.
As for the work:
Are we afraid
Of where we may go?
The little dark corners
And recesses of psyche
That dwell within.
Whose names are
Regret, and doubt.
Are they not in us?
So easily ignored,
And marginalized.
Sometimes,
It is better...
To stay the path
and become the friend of darkness.
And realize its potential,
consists not of fear,
but knowlege of truth.
Mark, before I scrolled down, I knew who's photo that was. You have a style all your own and it is a gift. Thank you for sharing that gift with us. I also am inspired by the piece you wrote to go with it. Truly amazing and thought provoking.
