I love the beach but have difficulty expressing what I see in my photos. This time, I got low, blurred the beach goers, but caught a glimpse of La Jolla in the far back. My only regret is I wish I had brought my graduated neutral density filters so I could pop the sky and the clouds. It took over a year, but I got a landscape shot I finally liked.

ReplyDeleteYour photo looks like another planet. Really good. I like it. My mom liked Torry Pines so that is where we went to the beach...a long drive from Lakeside. Never many people there sometimes no one else. It was open, the parking lot was dirt, and the path down to the beach iffy...and no lifeguard. Things change, but you have captured a feeling of remotness I remember about that beach.
